All About Events!
Lunch and Learn: The Browning Lunch and Learn is held the 1st Thursday of each month for Browning residents and seniors from the surrounding areas. We start out with a light lunch followed by a 45 minute presentation on a variety of interesting topics. We have had an assortment of presentations from Alpaca’s to politics to the famous “Waterville Pig”, nutrition and exercise to the history of Christmas ornaments. We learn and have fun in this smaller program for 40.
Browning Brunch Bunch: The Browning Brunch Bunch is held the 3rd Tuesday of every month in Harmony Hall. Our guests enjoy a buffet style breakfast followed by an entertaining or educational program. Now in its 4th year, this program draws an average of 80-90 guests from on and off campus.
Browning Travel Club: The Browning Travel Club is geared to adventurists who enjoy one day and multiple day bus trips. Partnering with Star Tours of Ohio, the group travels to a variety of places and destinations five to six times per year. Indiana Amish, Put-in-Bay, wine tours and Wright Patterson AFB have been just a few of the recent trips.
"No Limits" Concert & Lecture Series: These concerts and lectures are held in the evening on campus and are open to the public. The concert series has offered a wide variety of music genres, jazz to guitar, folk music to ragtime, and barbershop to quartets, just to name a few. The lecture series is usually held twice per month with consecutive sessions presented on the same or similar topics.
Education Series: Browning is currently offering classes in Water Color and there are plans underway to offer new opportunities for seniors on and off campus to learn a new skill or brush up on a talent they may already have.
