Activities

One of the many great parts of life at Browning Masonic Community is the variety of activities available to residents.

Individuals seeking an active lifestyle can find what they enjoy and more at Browning Masonic Community. There is a full exercise room with numerous pieces of fitness equipment and a spa area. The grounds have several walking paths and a pond for fishing enthusiasts. There are group fitness classes where exercises can be done from a chair or a standing position, everyone can participate.

Hands-on hobbyists can enjoy the wood shop, where some of the items you see around the campus are made. There are sewing and quilting groups, card games and more. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy watching young people play soccer, rugby and softball on the grounds on campus.

Browning Masonic Community residents are proactive in putting together their own projects. The residents opened and operate their own recreation room called “Browning Station” and gift shop called “Trifles and Treasures”. They also maintain the Railroad Museum located in the lower leven of Browning Masonic Community.

Throughout the year, there are opportunities to join in themed dinners, enjoy entertainment and speakers, or participate on trips to concerts and theater events, ball games and more. There are annual events right on the campus such as the Browning Car Show and Masonic Chicken BBQ, as well as monthly events like the Lunch and Learn, Browning Brunch Bunch and the No Limits concert and lecture series.

The Masonic fraternity is always busy and a part of the Browning Masonic Community campus. We are home to Rubicon Lodge and Triune Chapter of the Eastern Star.  They hold meetings on campus as well as a monthly High 12 Chapter.  Plus many other Masonic dinners and events.

And for those who want a little more, the cities of Toledo and Bowling Green are just a short drive away, offering shopping, dining, arts and entertainment options and excellent regional universities for those who want to participate in continued learning.
